The Daily Almanac

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 5, 2026

These Terms govern your use of The Daily Almanac. By using the site you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

The service

The Daily Almanac offers one fresh logic puzzle per game, per day. The current calendar week's puzzles are free for everyone; older boards are kept in an archive that may become a paid feature in the future.

Your account

You can play without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for the activity under it and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure. Signing in only adds cross-device progress sync; it never gates daily play.

Acceptable use

Use the site for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service, scrape or bulk-download its content, reverse-engineer how puzzles are generated, or extract puzzle solutions through automated means.

Intellectual property

The name The Daily Almanac, the site's design and text, and the puzzles themselves are protected. You may play and share your results, but you may not copy, redistribute or sell the content without our permission.

Paid features

Today's puzzle and the current week are free. If we introduce a paid archive or membership, the specific purchase terms, prices and your consumer rights (including any right of withdrawal) will be presented clearly at that time and added to these Terms.

Availability

We work to keep the site available and the daily puzzles solvable and correct, but the service is provided as-is, without warranties. We may change, pause or discontinue features.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damage arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be subject to the courts determined by the consumer-protection rules in force.
